I suggest you do your own research, but my understanding is that it is the first introduced act of it's kind in the U.S. that would allow all your favorite film stars and Journalists: both living and passed on , to have their families and estates own the rights their own voice, face and likeness in order to remain free from misrepresentation.
Let me be clear, I misspoke at one point and said we should go the way of Denmark and give that same to everyday people. That country is having a lot of interesting conversations about how to enforce because of how common it is for photo-sharing on socials.
Some of my other favorite issues are environmental causes, and funding for college. There is not enough time in US schools, to prepare for jobs that buy houses for so many. I still firmly believe the American Dream is possible.
Preserving historical documents/artwork Is my next biggest cause. Books, letters, journals, artwork analog--and digitizing celluloid. So much of that has been done. I am so happy about that.
